Matthew Emerson, CFP®

Matthew is the Director of Financial Planning for Academy and resides in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. He is responsible for providing technical and planning support to Academy's planners and clients through the preparation and development of comprehensive financial plans. He has worked in the financial planning field for many years, focusing on plan development, retirement planning, tax planning and executive compensation plans. Matthew earned his degree in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Illinois and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.  Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and being outdoors.
