Brandon Butler, CMFC®

Brandon is the Chief Investment Officer of Academy Financial, Inc. As CIO, Brandon ensures the investment department plays a key role in Academy investment management operations and provides valuable contributions to the client experience. He and his team are responsible for investment selection due-diligence, portfolio management and asset-allocation, as well as risk-management operations. Brandon directly monitors the economic environment, financial and market conditions, and applies all of this directly to firm’s overall investment strategy. Additionally, he oversees all functions, operational processes and integrations of the investment department. Prior to Academy, Brandon was the Vice President & Director of Investments for a wealth management firm overseeing $2billion in assets. He has a wealth of experience in the industry, holding multiple executive leadership roles at top rated firms. Brandon graduated from Lafayette College with majors in Economics & Business, Government & Law, and International Affairs, with a concentration in Finance. Brandon resides with his wife and two children in Rockville, Maryland.
