Cathy Waters

Cathy has been in the financial services industry since 1995. She began her career with Lincoln Financial Advisors and served in multiple roles to include Senior Field Operations Administrator providing support and resources to financial professionals in the areas of operations, compliance, administrative, client services and practice management. She was also an Operations Lead for the Southeast Division with extensive industry experience including onboarding and providing mentorship and coaching for planner staff. In 2020 she joined the Broker Dealer as an administrative associate for the Advisory Team. She joined Academy Financial in 2025 as an administrative associate within the shared staff. Cathy lives in Richmond, Virginia and leisure time at the “Rivah” in the Northern Neck of Virginia. She has four grown children and two grandchildren and enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
