Stanley Rodbell, a Financial Planner at Academy Financial Inc., offers comprehensive planning services for individuals. Stan has been involved in various phases of finance for more than 35 years, both as a lawyer and as a financial planning professional.  He was instrumental in developing the secondary mortgage market with Ginnie Mae and Freddie Mac and served as a JAGC officer in the Army Reserve for more than 22 years. His clients look to him for advice to assist them in making informed decisions about accumulating and allocating assets and helping them to reduce unnecessary estate taxes.  By working with executives, professionals and business owners, he has been able to focus on developing strategies to cope with the current economic and taxation landscape that these clients face.

Stan resides in Baltimore, MD with his wife Jane and their dog Rosie. His hobbies include biking and woodworking and working with philanthropic entities in education.

Community Involvement

Stan is a member of the board of MPT Foundation, Inc. and its investment committee.  He also serves on the investment committee of the Associated Jewish Charities of Maryland. Stan is a member of the bars of the highest courts of Maryland, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Supreme Court.
